The Qur'an ("Qor-Ann") is a Message from Allah to humanity. This message was given to the Prophet Muhammad in pieces over a period of approximately 23 years. Prophet Muhammad was 40 years old when the Qur'an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message is Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages such as, Albanian, Bangla, Bosnian, Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Malaysian, Malayalam, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tamil, Thai, Turkish and Urdu.

The Qur'an of today is the same as the Qur'an revealed to Muhammad, because it has never been changed. And Muslims believe that the words of Quran never changes, as it is said to be the words revealed by God. Thereby any translation of the Qur'an immediately ceases to be the literal word of Allah, and hence cannot be equated with the Qur'an in its original Arabic form. In fact, each of the translation is just an interpretation which has been translated. While the text of the original Arabic Qur'an is identical and unchanged since its revelation, you will find various translations and interpretations in varied languages with the original meaning unchanged.

Since Arabic is a very rich language, and the words are having many shades of Arabic idioms, and the weight of the words are difficult to understand and translate. Mostly the classical Arabic of the Qur'an requires more study in order to fully appreciate and understand the depths of meaning. So, anytime a translation is done into another language, the translator has to interpret the meaning and than give it into a new language. At the same time the translator has to keep in mind that though the language is changed, but the meaning should be the same.
